The mission of the ASTAR Postdoc Society is to enhance the social, academic and professional lives of junior research scientists at A*STAR. The four fundamental aims of the society are:

1. Facilitate communication and collaboration among postdocs from different RIs within A*STAR.

2. Promote the education and exposure of postdoctoral fellows to the multitude of Ph.D. career prospects (both traditional and non-traditional).

3. Support postdocs in their professional development.

4. Foster the development of a social environment conducive towards an optimal
research training experience.
